I've come to accept that, for me, face...Oh my. I've come to accept that, for me, facebook has been useful in reconnecting with people from earlier stages in life. And that's about it. <br /><br />I don't really check it because I LOATHE not only the status updates about yummy cookies but also all the self-promotion. I hate self-promotion in all varieties and my biggest complaint about facebook is that it seems to allow people to do it and (this is the important part) not feel like they are doing something slightly tacky. This is a problem. If people are going to promote themselves, they SHOULD feel just slightly uncomfortable about it. Facebook decreases that discomfort, as it allows people to believe they are just sharing fun news with a group of "friends." Not so.Blakehttp://www.downandoutindenver.comnoreply@blogger.com
